USA, new sanctions against Ethiopia

A new sanctions program was instituted against Ethiopia in response to the ongoing conflict in the country between the Ethiopian federal troops and the forces loyal to the Tigray People’s Liberation Front. Sanctions may be imposed in consideration of human rights violations, threats to the peace, security and stability of Ethiopia.
